Chinese Energy Transition Model and Windey's Experience in Brazil
China is a leading country in the renewable energy industry worldwide. In mid-2005, China's installed renewable generation capacity (wind and solar) was smaller than that of Europe and the US. However, by 2025, about 20 years later, China's energy matrix will have twice as many renewable sources as Europe and four times as many as the US. What can we learn from the accelerated energy transition model implemented in China? What can we apply in Brazil? Additionally, we would like to introduce Windey and how we intend to operate in the Brazilian market.

Curtailment: How Validating Generation and Climatology Information Reduces Financial Impacts
SAGER data requires validation by generation agents, as failed energy values do not always reflect reality. Information collected in real time may present inconsistencies, resulting in incorrect verified generation and reference generation data in the ONS, which directly affects the calculation of failed energy and compensation amounts. In this presentation, Way2 will demonstrate how daily monitoring of generation data, wind speed, and other factors helps reduce financial losses and increase the transparency of the information presented by the ONS.
