China is a leading country in the renewable energy industry worldwide. In mid-2005, China's installed renewable generation capacity (wind and solar) was smaller than that of Europe and the US. However, by 2025, about 20 years later, China's energy matrix will have twice as many renewable sources as Europe and four times as many as the US. What can we learn from the accelerated energy transition model implemented in China? What can we apply in Brazil?
